When a priest’s suicide opens the gates of Hell, it’s up to journalist Peter Bell (Christopher George) and psychic Mary Woodhouse (Catriona MacColl) to stave off a world-ending invasion of the living dead in Lucio Fulci’s bloody, atmospheric 1980 film CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD. Released in the wake of the international success of Fulci’s Zombie, CITY OF THE LIVING has become a cult classic in its own right, with multiple home media releases over the last few decades.
This month, Cauldron Films will release its definitive version of the Fulci favorite on 4K UHD. Featuring a specially commissioned 4K restoration and an all-new Dolby Vision color grade, this three-disc special edition includes the 4K UHD Feature, a Blu-ray Feature and a Blu-ray extras disc housed in a double-sided Blu-ray wrap boasting art by Matthew Therrien.
