Love ’em or hate ’em, remakes and sequels have become an inevitable part of the horror movie world. But do these re-imaginings have an impact on the source material? We put two fans head-to-head in our latest issue to duke it out over a topic that has become highly contentious over the past years.
JOSH HADLEY argues that “a remake/sequel needs to respect the source material, lest they end up ruining that amazing first film,” while CAITLIN MARCEAU counters, stating that “in the long run, a bad follow-up does the source material more good than harm.”
