For reasons that undoubtedly have nothing to do with the release of a certain Stephen King adaptation the same month, a new flick titled PET GRAVEYARD hits in April—though the trailer reveals that despite the presence of a cat, it’s more like a cross between FLATLINERS and the recent Nicolas Cage campfest BETWEEN WORLDS.

It will perhaps surprise no one that PET GRAVEYARD, which Uncork’d Entertainment brings out on DVD and digital April 2, was titled REAPER until recently. The directorial debut of Rebecca J. Matthews (who previously produced MOTHER KRAMPUS, MANDY THE HAUNTED DOLL and CURSE OF THE SCARECROW), the movie was written by Suzy Spade and stars Jessica O’Toole, David Cotter, Rita Siddiqui, Hindolo Koroma, Kate Milner-Evans, Georgina Jane, T’Jean Uter-Dinh and Hattie Willow. According to the PR, “PET GRAVEYARD concerns a group of friends tormented by the Grim Reaper and his sinister pet after they undergo an experiment that allows them to revisit the dead.”
