Award-winning rural shocker “DADDY’S GIRL” is coming next week; trailer and poster

The latest from the UK director of THE LAST HORROR FILM and SHIVER is a fresh slice of backwoods American deviance.

Cleopatra Entertainment releases DADDY’S GIRL, helmed by Julian Richards (who took the Best Director prize at the Fantasporto International Film Festival for this movie) from a script by Timothy Hill and Sean Hogan (LITTLE DEATHS, THE DEVIL’S BUSINESS), on DVD September 29 and VOD October 2. Jemma Dallender (I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2), the SAW films’ Costas Mandylor, Britt McKillip, Jesse Moss (TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL, GINGER SNAPS), Mark Arnold and Diana Care star. The synopsis: “An afflicted young woman [Dallender] is held captive by her abhorrent stepfather [Mandylor] in a small town. She soon becomes a person of interest to a female vigilante and local cop who suspect there is something extremely sinister at play.”
