It took the Audience Award for Best International Feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival last year, and now LAKE MICHIGAN MONSTER is headed for wider exposure.

Arrow Video has announced that the homage to classic monster movies will have a 24-hour virtual premiere hosted by Altavod on July 31, complete with a filmmaker introduction and a prerecorded Q&A with writer/director/star Ryland Brickson Cole Tews and actors Beulah Peters and Mike Cheslik. Advance tickets can be purchased here. LAKE MICHIGAN MONSTER will then be available on the Arrow Video Channel and digital HD August 3 in the U.S. and the UK.

The movie also stars Erick West, Daniel Long, Wayne Tews, Steve Hoelter, Lucille Tews and Aylah Hutchison. The synopsis: “On the shores of Lake Michigan, the eccentric Captain Seafield enlists a colourful crew of misfits in a bid to slay the hellish sea monster that prowls the murky depths. But as Seafield’s obsession with exacting revenge on the creature that killed his father threatens to consume him, can weapons expert Sean Shaughnessy, sonar whiz Nedge Pepsi and former N.A.V.Y. (Nautical Athletes and Venture Yunit) officer Dick Flynn hold the show together?”
