Available Now: The Second Issue of “RAZORBLADES: THE HORROR MAGAZINE” from James Tynion IV

This past July, bestselling writer James Tynion IV (Batman, The Department of Truth, Something Is Killing the Children) and writer/editor Steve Foxe launched RAZORBLADES: THE HORROR MAGAZINE, an all-new quarterly horror anthology sold exclusively through Tynion’s own Tiny Onion Studios. Now, RAZORBLADES is back for its second issue—as well as a brand-new subscription program, so readers don’t have to fear missing out on future issues

Available immediately, RAZORBLADES #2 is a nearly 80-page collection of comics, prose, interviews, and illustrations, featuring creators like Zac Thompson & Jen Hickman (Lonely Receiver), Josh Simmons (Flayed Corpse and Other Stories), Jen Bartel (Blackbird), Gou Tanabe (At the Mountains of Madness), Tini Howard (Excalibur), Joshua Hixson (The Plot), Marie Enger (Regression), Matthew Rosenberg & Tyler Boss (4 Kids Walk Into a Bank), and more.

From now until Halloween at midnight Eastern Standard Time, readers can preorder a print copy of RAZORBLADES #2 from ReadRazorblades.com for $15 USD (plus shipping). For fans who want to guarantee their copies of future issues, Tiny Onion is offering a $60 USD (plus shipping) subscription that includes print copies of RAZORBLADES #2 through RAZORBLADES #5, as well as a special reprint of RAZORBLADES #1 featuring a new cover from Sirenhead creator Trevor Henderson.

The first two issues will print and ship in November, with future issues following every three months through summer 2021.

In addition to the single-issue and standard subscription options, Tiny Onion is also offering a Premium Subscription for $80 USD (plus shipping), which includes postcard-size prints with each issue, a collector’s box, and exclusive RAZORBLADES enamel pins.

All of the above print options are available for preorder from now until Halloween at midnight EST, at which time orders will be locked and print runs will be set. Future issues of RAZORBLADES will have similar print-order windows, but the subscription format is a limited-time offer. The digital edition of each RAZORBLADES issue will remain available through ReadRazorblades.com, for whatever price readers would like to pay

“This all started as a simple dream of how to best create a platform to spotlight all of the incredible creators in the world of horror comics and horror illustrations, and let them loose,” Tynion IV said of the project’s gestation. “To bring together creators from every corner of our medium, and build something forward-looking and frightening. We never expected such an outpouring of support and interest when we launched Issue #1, and we wanted to learn from that, and prepare for what would come next. We’ve been doing a tremendous amount of legwork for the last three months to make sure we were ready for this launch, today, so that we can get our magazine into the hands of as many horror fans as we can muster. To that effect, and in celebration of Halloween, we wanted to give people a chance to buy into the full year of RAZORBLADES: THE HORROR MAGAZINE.”
