The surreally scary series is set to reach out and terrify you later this month.

Apple TV+ will debut all nine episodes of CALLS, based on the French series of the same title by Timothée Hochet that played on Canal+, globally on March 19. Directed by Fede Alvarez (DON’T BREATHE, EVIL DEAD), it is described as “a groundbreaking, immersive television experience that masterfully uses audio and minimal abstract visuals to tell nine bone-chilling, short-form stories. Each episode follows a darkly dramatic mystery that unfolds through a series of seemingly average, unconnected phone calls that quickly become surreal as the characters face growingly unsettling experiences.” Quite a cast has been assembled for this one: Nicholas Braun, Clancy Brown (THE MORTUARY COLLECTION), Lily Collins, Rosario Dawson, Mark Duplass (CREEP), Karen Gillan (OCULUS), Judy Greer (HALLOWEEN), Laura Harrier, Paul Walter Hauser, Danny Huston (30 DAYS OF NIGHT), Nick Jonas, Riley Keough (THE LODGE), Joey King (WISH UPON), Stephen Lang (DON’T BREATHE), Jaeden Martell (IT), Paola Nuñez, Pedro Pascal (THE MANDALORIAN), Edi Patterson, Aubrey Plaza (LIFE AFTER BETH), Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jennifer Tilly (BRIDE OF CHUCKY).
