Deadline reports that André Øvredal will helm TAROT for eOne, with Fuller Media in final negotiations to come aboard the project. eOne bought TAROT in a competitive auction as a pitch by Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman (PROJECT ALMANAC, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION); the duo will script, with Øvredal also serving as an executive producer alongside Alex Ginno. Brad Fuller, whose credits include the QUIET PLACE duo, the similarly game-based OUIJA films and numerous other successful genre movies at Platinum Dunes, will produce. Øvredal’s credits also include TROLLHUNTER and THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE, and he’s currently in the midst of postproduction on LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER, based on a portion of Bram Stoker’s DRACULA, for Universal.
