Amazon Prime Drops First Clip From “DEAD RINGERS” Reimagining Starring Rachel Weisz

Lady Macbeth (2016) writer Alice Birch dives into the murky waters of David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers with a gender-swapped series from Amazon Prime. Reimagining the father of body horror’s tale of twin gynecologists who can’t stand separation, the series created by Birch has released a first clip for audiences to sink their teeth into. Take a look at the two Rachel Weiszs!

Synopsis: A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers stars Rachel Weisz playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

Stream DEAD RINGERS on April 21st only on Prime Video.
