“ALIEN” and “EXTRA TERRESTRIAL” creatures from Eurohorror veterans coming on Severin Blu-rays; details, art & trailer

The pair of sci-fi/horror flicks are coming with extensive extras, including long-form documentaries on their creators.

Severin Films has announced an April 25 street date for new Blu-rays of Antonio Margheriti’s ALIEN FROM THE ABYSS and Juan Piquer Simon’s EXTRA TERRESTRIAL VISITORS. ALIEN, co-starring Charles Napier and featuring a monster born of nuclear waste dumping in a volcano, has been scanned in 4K from the original negative, and VISITORS is also a 4K negative scan of the restored director’s cut of the movie better known to MST3K fans as POD PEOPLE. ALIEN is presented in 1.33:1, while VISITORS is in 1.85:1 widescreen; special features are:
