A Phone Call Portends Doom for Christina Ricci in this Exclusive Clip from “MONSTROUS”
by William J. WrightMay 11, 2022
MONSTROUS stars Christina Ricci as Laura, a disturbed woman who escapes an abusive husband for life at an idyllic lakeside house with her young son. Yet, she soon learns that her new life by the water holds terrors of another sort. Set in the 1950s, the new film by director Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me, All Cheerleaders Die) and screenwriter Carol Chrest is described as a mashup that blends the supernatural, creature features, and family drama with psychological horror.
MONSTROUS from Screen Media Films premieres in theaters and on-demand on May 19, but RUE MORGUE has a sneak peek at the film just for our readers. Check out the exclusive clip below!
