It’s a new horror anthology from the people behind THE 100 CANDLES GAME and THE RED BOOK RITUAL.
Black Mandala has released the trailer and a pair of posters for THE SUMMONING OF BABY BLUE, the latest movie inspired by scary Internet folklore. The omnibus feature was directed by Sergio Gonzalez, Brandon Piskorik, Felipe Vargas, Corey Benson Powers and Brian Sepanzyk and written by Camilo Zaffora; the cast is headed by Valeria San Martin, Justina Ceballos, Daniela Flombaum, Nannu Spannauss, Giovanni Onetti, Agustín Olcese, Nicolás Onetti, Milagros Ribet, Xochitl Gomez, Carmela Zumbado and Sara Canning. The synopsis: “Based on a legendary creepypasta, the film revolves around a terrifying bathroom ritual in which a girl must tell a ghost story in front of the mirror to summon the spirit of ‘Baby Blue.’ This chilling premise unfolds into a series of short, spine-tingling tales that build tension and expand the mythology. Through the flickering lights of a haunted bathroom mirror and the whispered chant of ‘Baby Blue, Blue Baby,’ a babysitting gig turns into a nightmarish summoning–where survival depends on confronting the past and escaping a mother’s wrath from beyond the grave.”
Why can’t we give any release dates on this movie? Looks good.
