Full details plus art for Scream Factory “EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC” double Blu-ray set

One of horror’s most notorious and controversial sequels gets the full Scream Factory Collector’s Edition treatment (with plenty of new extras) next month as EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC comes to Blu-ray. Read on for the just-revealed complete specs, plus the cover art.

Shout! Factory releases the two-disc set September 25, featuring new 2K scans from original film elements of both the 118-minute North American cut and the 102-minute European cut of EXORCIST II. The film, directed by John Boorman and starring Linda Blair as the repossessed Regan MacNeil, Richard Burton and Louise Fletcher as a Vatican investigator and a psychiatric researcher trying to help her, original EXORICST stars Max von Sydow and Kitty Winn, and James Earl Jones, is presented in 1.85:1 and accompanied by the following bonus features:

DISC ONE (118-minute cut):

  • NEW Audio commentary by director John Boorman
  • NEW Audio commentary by project consultant Scott Bosco
  • NEW “What Does She Remember?”: Interview with actress Linda Blair
