This franchise entry will give teen-stalker fans something to cheer about.
Universal 1440 Entertainment has announced that BRING IT ON: CHEER OR DIE (previously known as BRING IT ON: HALLOWEEN), the latest in the film series launched by the Kirsten Dunst-starring original (pictured), has wrapped production in Winnipeg, Canada, for airing as a Syfy Original in fall 2022. Award-winning genre short filmmaker Karen Lam, who has also worked on TV series such as MYTHOS and GHOST WARS, directed from a script by Rebekah McKendry (ALL THE CREATURES WERE STIRRING) and Dana Schwartz (SHE-HULK), based on a story by Alyson Fouse. Missi Pyle (Y: THE LAST MAN), Kerri Medders and Tiera Skovbye star; the synopsis: “BRING IT ON: CHEER OR DIE follows a cheer squad as they practice their routines overnight in an abandoned school during Halloween weekend where one-by-one, the teens fall victim to a deranged assailant.”
