The dark-humored horror film McCONADILLA is now available exclusively at Prime Video, and becomes available on other platforms as well as Blu-ray and DVD November 7 from Indican Pictures. Layton Matthews wrote and directed, and also stars Charity Croomes, Jesse C. Boyd, Evan Gamble, Bob Salatich and Christine Elise (CHILD’S PLAY 2). The synopsis: “When perpetual man-child Henry Simms [Matthews] hits rock bottom after a string of personal and professional disasters, he finds himself clinging to the only thing that’s ever made him feel in control: his wise-cracking Texan armadillo puppet, McConadilla. But when Henry’s grip on reality begins to slip,McConadilla springs to life—loud, profane, and brimming with spectacularly bad ideas. What starts as twisted self-help quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. As the puppet urges Henry to ‘take back’ his life by any means necessary, their late-night pep talks devolve into a chaotic campaign of vengeance. Each misguided act meant to restore Henry’s confidence instead pulls him deeper into a violent, absurd nightmare where it’s unclear who’s really calling the shots.”
