The psychological shocker just wrapped production.
Director Chuck Parello sent along the first batch of photos from his new movie LET HER IN. Having directed HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER 2, THE HILLSIDE STRANGLER and ED GEIN in the past, Parello has here cast Susan Priver, who has appeared in several similar fact-based fright films for filmmaker Chad Ferrin. Conner Piers, Caroline Quigley and Robert Miano also star; according to the official synopsis, LET HER IN “follows Evie Garon [Priver], a woman who loses everything in the span of weeks: her boyfriend, her job, her stability. Rather than grieve, she reinvents herself, disappearing behind false identities and drawing her own son into an escalating web of lies. Her focus lands on Allison [Quigley], a young pregnant woman she targets under the guise of friendship, building toward a deception with devastating stakes.”
“I’ve long been a huge fan of Susan’s work,” Parello says. “Her turns as Dorothea Puente in DOROTHEA and Carol Bundy in SUNSET STRIP KILLERS are excellent. Susan is a fearless actress who relishes playing the heavy, though she’s capable of so much more. Audiences are in for a treat when they see her go for the evil gusto in LET HER IN.” The movie is currently in postproduction, with distribution and release plans to be announced soon.
