Continuing to work with the best in the genre business, Netflix will be hosting a new anthology series created and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro, joining his animated TROLLHUNTERS show on the streaming service.
Variety reports that Netflix has ordered 10 AFTER MIDNIGHT, described as “a collection of personally created stories that are…equally sophisticated and horrific.” J. Miles Dale (THE SHAPE OF WATER) and Gary Ungar will also be executive producers on MIDNIGHT, for which del Toro will write and direct certain episodes; he’ll hand-pick the scribes and filmmakers to script and helm the other tales. The exact number of episodes, as well as a premiere date, have yet to be determined.
