New Online Writing Group for HWA Members Taking Applications

By: Moaner T. Lawrence

Are you a member of the Horror Writers Association? Have you ever wanted to join a writing group, but couldn’t make it happen because you were too busy holding down several jobs or the meetup was too far away? Do you want to just write horror, have a good time, and maybe meet some like-minded individuals?

Good news: Rue Morgue’s Moaner T. Lawrence recently took up the mantle of Online Writing Group Director at the HWA, developing a ten-week curriculum designed to hone and enhance your writing skills. Whether you’re an amateur or a pro, all are welcome. It’s all about bringing the fun of a writing group to the comforts of your own home. Between ten, simple varied themes, and peer review, you’ll work towards creating several new pieces of flash and short fiction.

Spots are filling up quickly, so if the aforementioned sounds like something you’d be interested in, and you’re a member of the Horror Writers Association, click here to apply in Submittable.

Admission is free, but (BEWARE!) – even though pants may be optional, regular writing, critiquing, and attendance is not! If you don’t get emailed back immediately, don’t despair! Every ten weeks, ten new applicants will be chosen.
