EXCLUSIVE CLIP AND POSTER REVEAL FOR “A BLIND BARGAIN” REMAKE

Just weeks before his remake of the lost Lon Chaney classic A BLIND BARGAIN premieres at the annual FrightFest film festival, director Paul Bunnell has provided RUE MORGUE with an exclusive clip and first look at the film’s poster.

Bunnell’s remake builds upon the man-playing-God bedrock established in Chaney’s 1922 original—a film whose existence is no longer, as it’s believed to have been destroyed in a mid-‘60s MGM vault fire. Stepping into the mad scientist role is Crispin Glover (Willard) as Dr. Gruder, a demented doc whose pursuit of the fountain of youth requires human subjects—willing or otherwise. Rounding out the cast are Amy Wright (The Amityville Horror), Sean Whalen (The People Under the Stairs) and Jake Horowitz (Bones and All).

A BLIND BARGAIN was co-written by executive producer John E.  Falotico and Bing Bailey. Emmy nominee Ego Plum (The Cuphead Show!) scored the project, and production design was overseen by Frida Oliva.
