Social Deduction Horror “DON’T GET GOT” Releases on Steam Early Access

There are a few simple rules to surviving the night in DON’T GET GOT, the new multiplayer horror game from publisher CULT Games and developer Bossa Games (Surgeon Simulator):

Don’t blink.

Don’t make a sound.

Don’t trust your friends.

Don’t run out of batteries.

Dropping the core concept of Among Us into the first-person perspective of jump-scare reliant horror, DON’T GET GOT unwinds the moral fibers of its players by forcing them to determine just how valuable friendships are. And just how long they need to last.

From the press release:

“You and up to seven of your friends descend into an abandoned school where strange creatures roam – but not all of you can escape. Faced with dolls that freeze when observed, the ultimate question becomes: Who will be left behind?

THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH EACH OTHER

Find the objects you need to escape; the tools at your disposal can be used to save or betray. Noise and light attract unwanted attention, but hiding in a dark corner will only delay your demise. Collaborate with other players until they no longer serve your needs and find the opportune moment to break their trust. Be warned: the more friends you lose, the less eyes you have to keep the creatures at bay.

KEEP QUIET AND GET OUT

Don’t spend too long staring at the dolls or you’ll lose your mind. Find and listen to increasingly rare and terrifyingly loud music boxes to recover your dwindling stability. You’ll need to watch each other’s backs or use decoys to recover and survive … or maybe a blaring melody is just what you need to make a break for it.

DON’T GET COMPLACENT

Safety is only a temporary relief. DON’T GET GOT challenges players to turn sly social manipulators, a skill they will desperately need to face the many harrowing challenges Bossa and CULT intend to release through Early Access.”

DON’T GET GOT is currently in Steam Early Access.
