Make some noise! Mike Flanagan’s “HUSH” is coming in a four-disc UHD/Blu-ray set from Scream Factory; full details & art

The acclaimed director’s stalker chiller is about to look and sound better than ever–and in black-and-white, too.

Scream Factory is giving HUSH its physical-media debut as a four-disc 4K UHD/Blu-ray set, arriving November 26. The centerpiece will be a newly restored 4K transfer of the movie supervised and approved by director Mike Flanagan, accompanied by a new version called the “Shush Cut,” presenting the film in black and white with a fresh audio mix (removing nearly all of the score for a different, equally frightening experience). Flanagan scripted HUSH with its star Kate Siegel, and the cast also includes John Gallagher Jr. (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE), Samantha Sloyan (MIDNIGHT MASS) and Michael Trucco (THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER). Siegel plays Maddie Young, a deaf and mute writer living alone in a house deep in the woods, who comes under attack by a mysterious masked killer and must fight for her life.

The complete list of special features is as follows:

Disc One (4K UHD, Original Version)

  • NEW Audio commentary by Mike Flanagan, actor & co-writer Kate Siegel, and actors Samantha Sloan, John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Trucco

Disc Two (4K UHD, “Shush Cut”)

  • NEW Audio commentary by Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel.

Disc Three (Blu-ray, Original Version & “Shush Cut”)

  • NEW Audio commentary by Mike Flanagan, Kate Siegel, Samantha Sloyan, John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Trucco (2016 version)
  • NEW Audio commentary by Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel (“Shush Cut”)

Disc Four (Blu-ray, Special Features):

  • NEW Interview with Samantha Sloyan
  • NEW Interview with Kate Siegel

  • NEW Interview with producer Trevor Macy
  • NEW Interview with composers The Newton Brothers

The set features new artwork and a reversible wrap with a black-and-white version of that art, packaged in a slipcase. It’s now available for pre-order at the Shout! Factory website.
