Fright-Rags has been the official merch mover of hit Shudder series THE LAST DRIVE-IN WITH JOE BOB BRIGGS throughout the show’s six-season run. Over the years, the Mutant Fam has been able to stock their collections with plush dolls, lounge pants, socks and tees, but on August 9th, those interested may want to clear out some space in their pantries.
Just in time for the upcoming dusk-till-dawn six movie Nightmare-A-Thon on August 30th, Fright-Rags is releasing a limited-edition survival kit. Each $75 bundle includes:
- One bag of movie-style microwave popcorn
- Two cardboard popcorn boxes
- A 50 x 60 throw blanket
- One bag of Joe Bob’s Mutant Mud ground coffee, by Catfight Coffee
Each item is eerily lovingly emblazoned with Joe Bob’s disembodied head and can be pre-ordered beginning Friday, August 9th at 10 am ET.
On the subject of The Last Drive-In, 2018’s Dinners of Death event gave rise to one of the show’s most memorable moments, as Joe Bob intro’d a screening of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE with a dialog that nearly exceeded the film’s run time! Now, 50 years after Leatherface and kin unleashed “one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history,” Fright-Rags is marking the occasion with an all-new assortment of branded items, including long-sleeve baseball shirts, hoodies and tees, emblazoned with various scenes from the film and original designs. The new TCM line will be available for purchase beginning on Tuesday, August 13th at 10 am ET.
