The horrific cult favorite about a resurrected soldier rises again in Ultra High Definition.
Blue Underground has announced that it will release DEATHDREAM (a.k.a. DEAD OF NIGHT), directed by Bob Clark (BLACK CHRISTMAS) from a script by Alan Ormsby (DERANGED), on 4K UHD/Blu-ray and Blu-ray solo editions May 21. John Marley and Lynn Carlin star as parents of a young man named Andy (Richard Backus) who was allegedly killed in Vietnam, but comes home–now a bloodthirsty ghoul. Featuring the first screen makeup effects by Tom Savini, the film has been newly restored in 4K from the 35mm negative, and is presented on the discs in 1.85:1 widescreen (2160p and Dolby Vision HDR on the UHD), with DTS-HD Master audio.
