Joe Lynch’s “RE-ANIMATOR” reunion “SUITABLE FLESH” will see U.S. and UK release for Halloween

Actress Barbara Crampton and scripter Dennis Paoli return to H.P. Lovecraft territory with this erotic shocker.

Bloody Disgusting reports that SUITABLE FLESH, directed by Joe Lynch (MAYHEM, EVERLY) from a Paoli screenplay based on Lovecraft’s “The Thing on the Doorstep,” will hit theaters and VOD October 27. RLJE Films and Shudder, which will give the film its exclusive streaming debut next January, are handling the U.S. release. It has also been reported that Vertigo Releasing and Shudder will bring FLESH to UK cinemas and TVOD on the 27th; the movie is opening London’s FrightFest tonight. The cast also includes Heather Graham (pictured above), Judah Lewis, Bruce Davison and Johnathon Schaech; the synopsis: “After murdering her young patient, a once-esteemed psychiatrist [Graham] helplessly watches her life spiral into a nightmarish maelstrom of supernatural hysteria and gruesome deaths, all linked to a seemingly unstoppable ancient curse.”

SUITABLE FLESH premiered earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival; you can read our review here, and see an early poster and trailer below.
