THE GOLF COURSE IS NO LONGER SAFE IN “CADDY HACK”

By JULIAN ARWEN

What was once an adorable earth-digging rodent and a charming joke in a beloved comedy, becomes multiple fearful freaks of nature in Wild Eye Releasing’s upcoming horror comedy creature feature film CADDY HACK.

Set to premiere in Kevin Smith’s Smodcastle Theatre in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, the film’s press release describes the horror comedy as “CADDYSHACK by way of GREMLINS,” with the famed joke of the former taking center stage in this horror feature.

The gophers teeth and ambitions are bared in the “Caddy Hack” poster.

After a group of gophers become mutated thanks to some new pesticides, a struggling golf course will face the resulting mixture of dirt, death and dire situations. All the while, the greedy owner of the golf course tries desperately to cover the killings and the chaos up, whilst the groundskeeper attempts to go on a gopher-killing crusade.

CADDY HACK is directed and written by Anthony Catanese and stars Jim Gordon, Jake Foy, Chrissy Cavallo, Nick Twist, Ilene Sullivan, and John Evans.

The film premiers August 11 and releases on DVD and digital this October. Watch the trailer now!
