It’s the latest from acclaimed director Christopher Smith of THE BANISHING, BLACK DEATH and TRIANGLE.
IFC Midnight and Shudder will bring CONSECRATION exclusively to theaters February 10, followed by a premiere on the scream streamer later this year. Scripted by Smith and Laurie Cook, it stars Jena Malone (ANTEBELLUM, THE NEON DEMON), Danny Huston (30 DAYS OF NIGHT), Dame Janet Suzman, Thoren Ferguson, Ian Pirie, Steffan Cennydd and Angela White. The synopsis: “In CONSECRATION, after the suspicious death of her brother, a priest, Grace [Malone], goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened. Once there, she uncovers murder, sacrilege and a disturbing truth about her own past.”
