Lionsgate has announced a June 18 release of SIBERIA for theatrical and rental, followed by digital, Blu-ray and DVD availability June 22. Written and directed by Abel Ferrara, the creator of DRILLER KILLER, MS. 45, BAD LIEUTENANT, THE ADDICTION and so many more, it stars Willem Dafoe, Dounia Sichov, Simon McBurney. Cristina Chiriac, Daniel Giménez Cacho and Fabio Pagano. The synopsis: “Clint [Defoe] tends bar at a snowbound roadhouse whose patrons speak a language he doesn’t understand, and things may not be what they seem. Desperate for answers, he drives a sled team to a nearby cave, but finds no peace. Are the spirits that confront him mere figments of his imagination–or will they slowly tear his body and soul to pieces?”
