Exclusive trailer: psychological horror film “DELUSIONAL”

It’s the latest New York City-set descent into madness.

Writer/director Joseph Ariola and writer/star Anais Almonte (an actress/stuntwoman with credits including GOTHAM and THE PUNISHER) gave us an exclusive look at the first trailer for DELUSIONAL, which they also produced under their 2Guns Production banner. Almonte plays a woman who has murdered her husband; as the official synopsis describes, “She is beautiful, smart and was happily married to a former high school quarterback and decorated hero and U.S. Army Ranger. So what went wrong? What drove her to the brink to do something so unthinkable? Was it jealousy or deceit, or is she really delusional?”

“Anais and I adapted a short story she wrote and filmed years back into the feature’s screenplay,” Ariola tells us. “It’s a twisted thriller with highs and lows, and we feel viewers will really gravitate to the strong cast of actors,” which also includes Irene Glezos, Olgierd Minkiewicz and Leon Pinkney. Ariola and Almonte just signed a worldwide sales deal for DELUSIONAL, so stay tuned for release info.
