“V/H/S 94” relaunches the franchise with “READY OR NOT” and “THE RITUAL” filmmakers et al.

The anthology film series that showcased some of horror’s hottest talents has a new entry on the way, with a strong lineup of directors and producers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Bruckner (THE RITUAL, THE NIGHT HOUSE) and the Radio Silence team (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella of READY OR NOT), who helmed segments of the first V/H/S, are among the producers of V/H/S 94, along with franchise stalwart Brad Miska. As opposed to the previous films, this one will tell a single continuous story through its segments (in the manner of Bruckner’s debut THE SIGNAL). Bruckner also scripted the new film, and the directors signed so far include Simon Barrett (screenwriter of YOU’RE NEXT and THE GUEST), Timo Tjahjanto (THE NIGHT COMES FOR US, co-director of “Safe Haven” in V/H/S/2) and newcomer Chloe Okuno (the AFI short SLUT). Also part of the producing team are Josh Goldbloom and Parinda Patel of the new Cinepocalypse Productions.
