Exclusive photos and comments, plus poster: Holiday horror anthology “13 SLAYS TILL X-MAS”

VOLUMES OF BLOOD creator P.J. Starks returns to the omnibus fright form with Blood Moon Pictures’ 13 SLAYS TILL X-MAS, a collection of scary Yuletide tales. We’ve got exclusive pics and words from Starks, along with the poster.

Produced by Starks and Eric Huskisson, 13 SLAYS TILL X-MAS sports segments directed by the two of them along with Brittany Blanton, Sean Blevins, Jed Brian, William Capps, Alex Clark, John Hale, Blair Hoyle, Carlos Omar De Leon, Drew Marvick, John Mason and Pearry Teo. The cast includes Barbie Clark, Jason Crowe, Kevin Roach, Peter Anthony, Ryan Matthew Ziegler, J.P. Lebengood, Francis Whitaker, Brandon Shell, David McMahon, Sonya Delormier, Joshua Mark Robinson, Julie Streble, Wes Bartlett, Steve Christopher, Torri Yates-Orr, Nathan Tymoshuk, Lauren Argo, RJ Campbell, Kaylee Williams, Gerrimy Keiffer, Michael Merchant, Luciana Faulhaber and Greg Harpold. The synopsis: “On December 24, five seemingly random men are invited to a dive bar by a mysterious e-mail. They decide to pass the time by resurrecting the old tradition of telling scary stories on Christmas Eve. As each take turns spinning yarns of Yuletide terror, it becomes evident they may be harboring a dark and deadly secret.”

“I could not be more excited about our Christmas anthology of terror,” Starks tells RUE MORGUE. “When conceptualizing the idea three years ago, had you told me about the range and level of talent we ultimately got involved, I’d have said you were insane. We have some kick-ass directors, solid actors and unbelievably talented crews participating. If you’re a fan of Christmas horror or anthologies, you’ll want to check this one out. We have everything, including pranks gone wrong, demonic possession, bloodthirsty inanimate objects, monsters, ghosts, urban legends and folklore brought to life in a very bloody fashion. The diversity in terms of stories and horror subgenres is something that definitely sets this apart from all the others.”
