Should a hard line be drawn between what is and isn’t “horror”?
In the first corner, LAST CHANCE LANCE argue Yes, stating that “Thrillers may very well ratchet up your sense of suspense, but do they scare the shit out of you, literally and figuratively, like a well-crafted horror movie can?”
In the opposite corner, MONICA S. KUEBLER counters with No, arguing that “Humans like labels. Psychology tells us that our minds find them comforting, but horror is not a genre of comfort.”
