It’s coming to celebrate the sci-fi/horror favorite’s 40th anniversary.
Publisher Dark Ink has opened up pre-orders for ALIENS: EXPANDED, a deluxe limited-edition hardcover inspired by CreatorVC’s documentary of the same title. Written by Jonathan James, it’s available exclusively at the Dark Ink website, with pre-orders closing September 30 and shipping scheduled to start in late November. As a bonus, the first 1,000 people to order the book will have their names included in the book’s “Egg Chamber” section. According to the PR, “Packed with stunning visuals, in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes stories, and insights from the cast and crew, the book explores why ALIENS remains one of the most influential and beloved science-fiction films ever created. Featuring material drawn from interviews with James Cameron, Sigourney Weaver, Paul Reiser, Gale Anne Hurd, Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, and many others, the book offers fans an unparalleled journey into the film’s creation and lasting cultural impact.”

“After our incredible experience working with CreatorVC on the IN SEARCH OF DARKNESS coffee-table book and seeing the overwhelming response from fans, we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them once again,” says Dark Ink founder/CEO Michael Aloisi. “ALIENS is one of the most important sci-fi films ever made, and this book is designed to be the definitive collector’s piece for fans of the film and documentary alike.”
“I’m delighted to be partnering with Dark Ink,” says CreatorVC founder/CEO Robin Block. “Our previous collaborations have been so well-received by our audience, and I know they’re going to do a terrific job with the ALIENS: EXPANDED book. We’re excited that more of our efforts are getting into the hands of the fanbase, and given the caliber of Dark Ink’s previous offerings, I think this limited-edition hardback will sell out very quickly.”
