Red Shirt Home Video and Synapse Films have announced their limited-edition (3,000 units) 4K UHD/Blu-ray release of the cult-fave sexy sci-fi/action film ANGEL OF H.E.A.T., streeting September 29. Making its worldwide 4K premiere here, the movie was directed by Myrl A. Schreibman and stars Marilyn Chambers, Stephen Johnson, Mary Woronov, Milt Kogan, Remy O’Neill, Dan Jesse, Gerald Okamura and Andy Abrams (a.k.a. adult film star Randy West). According to the official synopsis, Chambers plays “Angel Harmony, a glamorous government agent tasked with stopping a mad scientist bent on world domination. His weapons of choice? An army of androids and a bizarre device capable of disintegrating metal. Now, Angel and a band of covert operatives from around the globe must deal with secret microchips, shadowy conspiracies, mud-wrestling disco parties, and erotic temptations around every corner.”
The film is presented in a 4K restoration from the original 35mm camera negative, presented in both 1.37:1 and 1.66:1 viewing options. Special features on the region-free disc are:
