A bunch of exciting new titles on 4K and Blu-ray and discounted classics go on sale tomorrow.
Severin Films gave us the first look at a supersized trailer for its summer sale, which will take place at the Severin website this Friday, June 26-Monday, June 29. In addition to slashing prices on a wealth of past releases (including a special sale on box sets Saturday only), Severin has an impressive lineup of new 4K UHD/Blu-ray releases on offer, including: André Øvredal’s THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE; George Eastman’s METAMORPHOSIS; José Antonio de la Loma’s THE PERROS CALLEJEROS TRILOGY; William Girdler’s THE MANITOU; Russell Bates and Matt McDowell’s SHEILA AND THE BRAINSTEM; Ferdinando Baldi’s TERROR EXPRESS; Franck Khalfoun’s MANIAC remake; Lucio Fulci’s THE BLACK CAT; Massimo Dallamano’s WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SOLANGE?; and Mariano Baino and Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni’s ASTRID’S SAINTS, as well as upgrades of Joe D’Amato’s ANTHROPOHAGOUS and ABSURD (in a FEAR THE REAPERS set) and BEYOND THE DARKNESS, and Baino’s DARK WATERS, all in new 4K transfers and packed with bonus features previewed in the trailer.
