We’ll all scream for the gory new chiller later this summer.
ICE CREAM MAN will open on over 2,000 screens across North America August 7 via The Horror Section and Iconic Events. Eli Roth directed from a script he wrote with Noah Belson, and also co-stars along with Ari Millen (ORPHAN BLACK) in the title role, Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer and Charlie Storey. The score is by Emmy-winning composer Brandon Roberts with additional music by Snoop Dogg, and the makeup effects were created by Steve Newburn (THANKSGIVING, FRANKENSTEIN) and Academy Award-winner Adrien Morot (THE WHALE, M3GAN). No relation to the 1995 film starring Clint Howard, this ICE CREAM MAN “follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results,” i.e. the children turning extremely violently against their parents and other adults.
