Witness one man’s night terrors first-hand.
FOUND TV gave us the first look at the trailer (see it below) for its latest Original production, GO TO SLEEP. The movie will premiere May 30 at the inaugural Recovered Reels Festival in Quakertown, PA, before it launches globally on the FOUND streaming platform. Steven Espinoza directed from a script he wrote with Chris Vander Kaay; the duo also produced, and Vander Kaay stars along with Kathleen Killian Fernandez, Dan Scully and Evan San Martin. The synopsis: “GO TO SLEEP follows a recently single man living in a new house who discovers that his nighttime sleepwalking habits have become unusual and dangerous, and he may not be alone.”
Vander Kaay first won notice among indie-horror fandom with his previous feature .ASK, and says, “My first film only cost $250, and it was well received by the found-footage community, which I’m thankful for. That little movie brought us to FOUND TV to make GO TO SLEEP, so that $250 has really paid off for us.”
“Projects like GO TO SLEEP are exactly why we built FOUND,” says the streamer’s co-founder and CEO Louie La Vella. “It’s about giving filmmakers the opportunity to take risks and tell stories that might not fit traditional systems, while still reaching a global audience that truly understands the genre.”
