The superhero studio’s first foray into horror looks mighty intriguing.
Warner Bros. will release DC Studios’ CLAYFACE in theaters and IMAX in North America October 23, with the international release beginning October 21. Directed by James Watkins (THE WOMAN IN BLACK, SPEAK NO EVIL) from a script by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, based on the character from the Batman universe created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, it stars Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie (BLINK TWICE), David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. According to the official synopsis, “CLAYFACE unravels one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.”
