Music for vampire slaughter is returning with a classic image on its cover.

Mystic Vault, which specializes in soundtracks for cult indie-horror favorites, is reissuing its two-album vinyl edition of Leif Jonker’s DARKNESS today. This Signature Series limited edition of 200 signed and numbered copies features the synth score by Michael Curtis and filmmaker Jonker, plus the heavy metal songs by Apostasy, Knight, Scepter and The Grunge. Most notable for fans of Jonker’s vampire-apocalypse epic, it sports the original VHS artwork, depicting actor Steve Brown is Jodie in burned and begored makeup, on its cover. This new release goes on sale at 11 a.m. today at the Mystic Vault website linked above, so grab it while it’s hot!
