The female-led fright feature just completed shooting in Winnipeg, Canada.

Raven Banner Entertainment has announced the wrap on SUNDOWN, directed by Rebekah McKendry (GLORIOUS) from a script by Joshua Hull and David Ian McKendry. Olwen Fouéré (THE WATCHERS, MANDY), Camille Sullivan (SHELBY OAKS), Summer H. Howell (CURSE and CULT OF CHUCKY, the upcoming CARRIE series), Daniel Bernhardt (DEATHSTALKER), David Alpay, Kyle Mac, Elisa Paszt, David Ian McKendry, Junko Bailey and Megan Best star. The synopsis: “Three generations of women reunite in a remote cabin to avenge a loved one’s death, only to discover their captive isn’t who he seems to be, and his family is closing in, waiting for sundown.”

Among the executive producers is Guns N’ Roses’ Slash (pictured above with Rebekah McKendry) via his BerserkerGang banner, along with Michael Vasicek, Michael Da Silva and Rodrigo Gudiño. The producers are Hangar 18 Media’s Pasha Patriki, Raven Banner’s Michael Paszt, Andrew Thomas Hunt and James Fler, and Juliette Hagopian. “SUNDOWN is great,” Slash says. “It is a super-tense family-vs.-monster tale that is as claustrophobic as it is terrifying.”

“SUNDOWN was an incredible experience,” says Rebekah McKendry, “from my amazing cast and producers to my DP and our fantastic crew. This film means a great deal to me, exploring the generational divide between three strong women confronting monsters both real and psychological. Even when we were running through the snow in -25 weather, the shoot was wonderful and unforgettable. I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Adds Paszt, “SUNDOWN was a fantastic collaboration with director Rebekah McKendry, our phenomenal cast, Slash, and the teams at BerserkerGang, Raven Banner, Juliette and Hangar 18, and we’re thrilled to have brought this intense, atmospheric horror film to life in Winnipeg.”
