Official trailer and poster for “HOKUM” take you into a very haunted hotel

The new film from the creator of ODDITY takes a deep dive into frightening folk horror.

Neon releases HOKUM to theaters May 1. Written and directed by Damian McCarthy (ODDITY, CAVEAT), it stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Michael Patric and Will O’Connell. The synopsis: “When novelist Ohm Bauman [Scott] retreats to a remote inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, he is consumed by tales of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance forces him to confront dark corners of his past.”
