A truly abominable creature bloodily rampages through these pages.
Fathom Press is reissuing Norman Bogner’s long-out-of-print horror novel SNOWMAN this fall as part of its Savage Harvest line, with pre-orders currently open. First published in 1978, the book is synopsized thusly: “Mountaineer Daniel Bradford alongside his chief Sherpa, Pemba, barely escaped the Himalayas with their lives, the sole survivors of a brutal massacre that wiped out their entire expedition. Now, a decade later, the Snowman has settled high above a lavish new ski resort in California’s Sierra Nevada. As panic spreads and the bodies pile up, Bradford and his team must track down the beast before it strikes again!”
The new edition of SNOWMAN includes an introduction by RUE MORGUE’s Michael Gingold and cover art by Stephen Andrade. Savage Harvest has more reprinted paperback favorites coming next year, including Donald D. Cheatham’s killer-shark opus RIP TIDE and Stephen Crye’s teen slasher JOYRIDE; Richard Vetere’s VIGILANTE, a novelization of Vetere’s own screenplay for the William Lustig crime shocker, will also be published in 2026.
