Paramount Pictures will release PRIMATE exclusively to theaters January 9, 2026. Directed by Johannes Roberts (the 47 METERS DOWN films) from a script he wrote with Ernest Riera, it stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, and Troy Kotsur, Victoria Wyant, Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann and Tienne Simo. The synopsis: “In PRIMATE, a group of friends’ tropical vacation turns into a terrifying, primal tale of horror and survival.”
