The helmet-wearing horror has also nailed down its North American distribution.
DEATH CYCLE, the latest from Canadian director Gabriel Carrer (FOR THE SAKE OF VICIOUS, THE DEMOLISHER), will have its world premiere at FrightFest UK in London on August 24, followed by a screening at Spain’s Sitges fest. In addition, the film (which we first reported on with exclusive photos here) has been picked up by Uncork’d Entertainment for release in the U.S. and the Philippines, while Black Fawn Distribution will unleash it in Canada. Written by Dave McLeod, it stars Kristen Kaster, Matthew Ninaber (PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN), Sasha Ormond, Justin Bott, James Fler and Wes Hill. According to the official synopsis, “DEATH CYCLE follows a woman who, following the death of her sister, is visited by a man investigating a series of brutal murders committed by a motorcycle maniac. As their shared fear grows, the killer’s rampage continues, leaving them both questioning who the real monster is.”
“With our festival run about to commence, the DEATH CYCLE team is ecstatic to have our world premiere at the legendary FrightFest UK,” says Carrer. “It’s been a dream of ours from the moment Dave McLeod wrote the script. Given the film’s deep giallo roots, and my personal connection to Italian cinema through my family, it felt only right to debut the film in Europe.”
“Gabriel Carrer has crafted a sharp, uncompromising thriller with DEATH CYCLE, a film that masterfully blends giallo style with modern slasher brutality,” says Uncork’d president Keith Leopard. “We’re thrilled to bring this bold, blood-soaked vision to audiences in 2026.”
