As a screenwriter, David McGillivray was behind some of the most notorious fright films to come out of Britain in the 1970s. Decades later, he got up to even more sordid stuff. Now the truth is finally being told in a new book.
FAB Press has announced the release of LITTLE DID YOU KNOW, McGillivray’s no-holds-barred autobiography. In 1974, he began a partnership with director Pete Walker that resulted in the screen shockers HOUSE OF WHIPCORD, FRIGHTMARE, THE CONFESSIONAL (a.k.a. HOUSE OF MORTAL SIN) and SCHIZO (pictured), and he also wrote Norman J. Warren’s SATAN’S SLAVE and TERROR. And there was much more to his story, as FAB’s PR relates:
