The Limited Collector’s Edition of Tobe Hooper’s classic also includes a VHS version.
Dark Sky Selects has announced the TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE 50th Anniversary Chain Saw Edition, to be unleashed October 1. The set includes a new 4K UHD of the movie, a pair of Blu-rays (including new bonus material) and an exclusive VHS copy, housed in a custom created box that’s a replica of the film’s iconic weapon. Opening the chainsaw triggers the sound of Leatherface revving it up in the movie. It also comes with a newly designed 50th Anniversary O-card; each set will be numbered, and only 5,000 have been created.
