Just in time for the witching season, Coterie Coffee Co. and Concept Cafes, the specialty coffee companies responsible for producing signature blends for such iconic heavy metal bands as Testament and Cannibal Corpse, have forged a hellish pact with genre streamer SHUDDER that’s sure to have java-loving horror fans screaming for a taste. Entombed in terrifying interactive packaging, SHUDDER Coffee is a frightfully delicious custom roast featuring a natural blend of high-grade beans that, according to Coterie Coffee Co. and Concept Cafes, “pushes the possibilities of an immersive fan experience by channeling all of the senses.” The coffee is suitable for drip, pour-over, French press, cold brew, and even espresso and comes in whole bean or ground with three different grind options.

“Horror is our favorite movie genre, and we have been fans of SHUDDER since the inception of the service. We wanted to create a coffee-drinking experience that speaks to horror fans. That’s why the packaging is so detailed, and the coffee itself gives chocolate candy bar vibes. It’s the perfect pairing for a horror movie night!” says Coterie Coffee founder and “brains behind the beans” Char Blanchard.

“As you can probably tell, we are very sensory-driven people – for better or for worse! But we’re also very experientially influenced when we deep-dive into these concepts,” adds Concept Cafes founder Mike Tonsetic. “Of course, there are obvious horror nods in SHUDDER’s packaging, but that also thematically correlates with our lifelines, so to speak. But it’s not about us; We just wanted to share a little bit of us so the fans can really share their own wicked tale with SHUDDER. What do we get out of it? Hey, if the coffee helps fuel someone’s creativity, then we just get to sit back and enjoy while we sip on a cup of devilishly good coffee!”

SHUDDER’s official coffee is available for preorder via www.conceptcafes.com and begins shipping soon on a first-order-first-ship basis.
