It’s showing at a couple of major festivals this month.

Below you can check out the teaser trailer and poster for writer/director Russell Goldman’s short film BURN OUT, on which Jamie Lee Curtis served as executive producer. It stars Everett Osborne and Tommie Earl Jenkins; the synopsis: “An assistant will do anything to get a presentation in front of his boss–even set himself on fire.”

“BURN OUT is a gonzo, high-octane horror story about the disastrous compromises we make with our bodies and minds in breakneck work environments,” Goldman says. “Nothing is scarier–or more absurd–than what we can do to ourselves.” The movie has its world premiere at Los Angeles’ Dances With Films this Thursday, June 27, followed by a screening at the Chattanooga Film Festival this Friday, June 28.
