Transcending horror, slapstick comedy and action, B-movie actor supreme Bruce Campbell‘s oeuvre is practically a genre unto itself. Fans of the Groovy One know this, so it’s little wonder that the King has an exclusive event dedicated to his bloody body of work.
Touted as the definitive Bruce Campbell film festival, VIRTUAL BRUCEFEST (slated to stream online on March 24) is an immersive fan event celebrating the ongoing cinematic legacy of the man and the myth who made “boomstick” a household word. Shemps and other primitive screwheads are invited to partake in a “Master Class” on acting from the man himself, interactive events, and a virtual game experience that continues “the Brucefest story of ancient evil and corporate capitalism!”
Live guests, including Dana DeLorenzo (Ash vs. Evil Dead‘s Kelly Maxwell) and Steven Scott (writer of IDW Comics’ Bubba Ho Tep vs Army of Darkness), will also be dropping in to celebrate Campbell and his work.
VIRTUAL BRUCEFEST’s “doors” open at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PST. Bruce Campbell takes the stage at 10 p.m. EDT/7:00 p.m. PST. Click here for tickets.
