Religious horror “SHEEPS CLOTHING” releases next week; see the trailer

A church is no sanctuary in this film from one of the co-directors of this month’s SXSW premiere DEAD MAIL.

Cranked Up releases SHEEPS CLOTHING to VOD platforms next Tuesday, March 12. Kyle McConaghy directed and Aaron Phifer produced, and the duo scripted with Nick Heyman; Phifer, Sean Heyman, Nick Heyman and DEAD MAIL’s Sterling Macer Jr. star. The synopsis: “A violent attack leaves high school principal Mansa Harper [Phifer] with a traumatic brain injury. After finding refuge working for a pastor [Nick Heyman] at a fledgling church, Mansa soon realizes the pastor’s personal struggles are creeping into the sanctuary. When a member of the church winds up dead, Mansa is compelled to help the pastor clean up the aftermath. This act of service takes Mansa through a strange and bloody pilgrimage as he tries to save the church and himself.”
