Rue Morgue and Unstable Ground present LITTLE TERRORS Volume 55: Dead Wishes

Our 7th season premiere is here! Come check out our monthly showcase of horror short films hosted at IMAGINE CINEMAS CARLTON on Wednesday September 27 @ 9 PM and featuring two full hours of the craziest, goriest, most-disturbing and off-the-wall short films the genre has to offer! Hum (15 minutes, UK, premiere)
DIR: Stefano Nurra
Drawing inspiration from the real-life phenomena of The Hum, this story of grief and loss packs an unsettling punch. Will you hear it? Previous selection of Fantasia, Frightfest and more.

Empire of Dirt (8 minutes, USA, premiere)
DIR: Adam Mason
LT-alumnus Mason (The Devil’s Chair, Blood River, Hangman) returns with a brutal, action-packed, Hellraiser-tinged story of impossible penance. Visually-arresting and altogether unforgettable.

The Man Who Caught a Mermaid (16 minutes, Australia, premiere)
DIR: Kaitlin Tinker
An old man believes he catches a mermaid in this tense previous selection of Fantasia, Telluride Horror Show, and more.

Stick to Your Gun (10 minutes, New Zealand, premiere)
DIR: Joe Hitchcock
A gun-loving woman tries to cook breakfast for the man handcuffed to her bed, but has to stop a wild chicken from destroying everything first. Bizarre mix of live-action and stop-motion, with a twisted sense of humour. Previous selection of Palm Springs, Morbido, and more.
